Defining an MVP

Goal

Insiders is a Swiss company specialized in sports technology. They design high-precision data collection devices to optimize athlete performance, raise the level of competition, and enrich the sports narrative.

My agency was commissioned to develop two digital interfaces: one for event organizers and the other for the general public. These platforms allow real-time tracking of athletes’ performance thanks to Insiders’ advanced technology. The goal was to deliver a smooth and intuitive user experience tailored to the demanding sports environment.

Approach

I facilitated a Design Sprint to quickly define an application concept and test it directly with users. Based on the insights gathered, we identified key features that shaped the first version of the web application.

Design Sprint Process

A five-day Design Sprint led to the creation of a functional prototype, tested directly with the target audience.

This agile approach accelerated decision-making and enabled the delivery of a usable first version within a week. The process quickly revealed areas for improvement and adjustments to refine the interface.

To further enhance the user experience, I planned a research phase that included qualitative interviews, surveys, and field tests. These activities provided valuable feedback from both event organizers and the public, ensuring a strong alignment between user needs and the proposed features.

UI Design

Finally, the early creation of UI modules ensured visual consistency across both platforms, reinforcing the project’s identity and providing a seamless, unified navigation experience throughout the digital ecosystem.
